About the Author
John Nunn is an English grandmaster, writer and mathematician. He was the European Junior Chess Champion in 1975 and became a Grandmaster three years later. He’s a two-time gold medal winner at the Chess Olympiad.
Nunn is considered by many to be one of the best modern authors of books about chess. He has written a large amount about the game over the course of dozens of books. His work is especially interesting as he uses data mining as the foundation for his research into new chess moves and strategies which he then compiles in his written works.
